Not at all! It’s a matter of the blog becoming more and more time consuming as the fandom keeps growing and the mods getting busier and busier schedules.
Also, this isn’t really that abrupt, is it? There was a long hiatus over the summer and posting has been kind of sporadic ever since. If you look at the blog now, our most recent post was september 6, that is over a week ago. I’d say it’s been a long time coming.
